A new chapter for Shearzone Safaris

A new chapter for Shearzone Safaris

An update from Shearzone Safaris

As Shearzone Safaris continues to grow, so too does the way its story is presented. Alongside the development of new camps, the brand and digital experience have been refined to better reflect what exists on the ground. This evolution is not about change for its own sake, but about bringing greater clarity and consistency to how the camps, their locations and the overall philosophy are communicated.

A considered evolution

The development of Shearzone Safaris has been defined by a clear and consistent approach: small-scale camps, carefully chosen locations and an emphasis on the experience itself. As the portfolio expands, there is a natural need to ensure that this approach is reflected not only on the ground, but in how the brand is presented and accessed.

The recent evolution of the Shearzone brand and website is part of this process. Rather than introducing something new, the focus has been on refining what already exists, bringing greater clarity to the camps, their locations and how they relate to one another. This includes a more structured presentation of information, making it easier for both guests and agents to understand the differences between each property and how they can be combined.

Improving the digital experience

A key element of this update has been improving the digital experience, particularly for those planning and managing bookings. A more considered platform allows for clearer navigation, better access to information and a more intuitive way of engaging with the brand as a whole.

Alongside this, the visual identity has been adjusted to better align with the environments in which Shearzone operates. This is not about imposing a strong aesthetic, but about ensuring that the presentation remains consistent with the landscapes and experiences themselves.

Working in collaboration

This process has been developed in collaboration with Silverless, a UK-based creative agency, working closely with the Shearzone team to translate the on-the-ground experience into a format that works across digital and print.

As with the camps themselves, the aim has been to keep things simple, functional and consistent, allowing the experience to speak for itself.

Why Kafue still matters

Kafue National Park remains one of Zambia’s largest and least visited safari destinations. While other regions often attract more attention, Kafue offers a quieter, more expansive experience, defined by its scale and variety of landscapes. For those willing to travel a little further, it continues to provide a depth of safari that is increasingly difficult to find elsewhere, shaped as much by space and time as by wildlife itself.

Nzovu Rundu: a new camp on the Lower Zambezi

Nzovu Rundu marks the next step for Shearzone Safaris, extending its presence into the Lower Zambezi. Set along the Zambezi River, the camp builds on the approach established at Mozhi Bush Camp, with a focus on location, scale and a close connection to the surrounding landscape. As opening approaches, Nzovu Rundu introduces a new setting shaped by water, wildlife and a more varied pace of safari.
